Body Language
Read what bodies are really saying – and make sure yours backs up your message.
This track takes you beyond generic body-language tips into real interactions: live meetings, video calls, difficult one-to-ones and group discussions where half the story is nonverbal. You learn to see patterns rather than isolated gestures: how comfort, tension, resistance, interest or uncertainty show up in faces, posture, hands, breathing and movement.
At the same time, you build awareness of what your own body is broadcasting: doubt, impatience, insecurity, pressure or calm authority. Instead of hoping you “look confident”, you get concrete levers you can adjust so your nonverbal behaviour supports the message and relationship, instead of quietly weakening them.
You’ll learn to:
Read baseline versus deviations in real people, not from generic “body language rules”
Look for clusters of signals that point to comfort, engagement, doubt, resistance or withdrawal
Spot rising tension early enough to de-escalate or reframe the conversation
Work with posture, gestures, eye contact and orientation to lower defensiveness or add healthy pressure
Use voice tone, tempo and pauses so your words and your delivery reinforce each other
Notice how your own stress, insecurity or frustration leaks through your body language
Align your nonverbal presence with the trust, clarity and authority you actually want to project
Spot the real emotions through microexpressions and body language signals
Ideal for: leaders and managers, sales and customer-facing roles, mediators and negotiators, therapists and coaches, HR and L&D professionals, and anyone who regularly handles sensitive, emotionally loaded or high-stakes conversations.
